Grades 3 to 5 are where math gaps start to stack up. Fractions, multi-digit multiplication and place value in these years are the base for everything in middle school, and at many high-need North County elementary schools fewer than half of students meet the math standard. Your diagnostic (i-Ready, Star or MAP) tells you which students are behind in which area. This kit gives you the next step.
Which schools this fits
- Title I and other high-need elementary schools where fewer than half of students meet the CAASPP math standard
- Schools that already give i-Ready, Star or MAP and need a next step after the report
- Intervention blocks, tutoring and after-school programs for grades 3–5
Try before you buy: download the free California School Sampler, or email shopcreatorsupplyco@gmail.com to ask about a free 6-week School Membership pilot for one school.
How it works
- Find the students below grade level in an area on your diagnostic report. A table matches common report domains to the kit's sections.
- Give Quick Check A (6 questions, about 5-10 minutes) to confirm the gap.
- Teach the worked example and use the practice pack in small group, intervention, tutoring or homework.
- Give Quick Check B and record both scores on the class sheet.
