The California ELA/ELD Framework calls for two kinds of English language development: designated ELD and integrated ELD, where every teacher with English learners uses the CA ELD Standards inside math, science and social studies. Generic sentence frames are easy to find; frames written for real content lessons, leveled Emerging, Expanding and Bridging, and tagged to CA ELD codes are not. This kit gives content teachers in grades 3–8 ready-to-cut frames for the language their lessons already demand.
